ITES Lab Established at Texas State University

Dr. Aung Myat joins the Ingram School of Engineering at Texas State University as an Assistant Professor and establishes the Intelligent Thermal & Energy Systems Laboratory (ITES Lab). The group focuses on intelligent thermal-fluid systems for advanced energy, thermal management, energy storage, computational multiphysics, and AI-enabled digital twins.

Research Focus

The lab is organized around three connected research thrusts: thermal management, hybrid energy systems, and AI-enabled modeling and digital twins. These thrusts share a foundation in transport physics, multiphysics computation, and application-driven engineering.
